Gatsby Glamour

I can't wait to see Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic The Great Gatsby. I love the Twenties silhouettes and classy accesories and so here is a bit of Daisy Buchanan inspiration to a grey Wednesday afternoon.

The last day of winter

The catwalks may be brimming with florals and flirty dresses but unfortunately it is still a bit too cold to step outside without my trusted winter gear. This green Joules Moredale jacket and Massimo Dutti handbag have been key items in my winter wardrobe.

Suited and booted!

Adding vintage pieces to winter work wear adds a bit of soul to the corporate uniform. These two belts are flea market finds, boots from a boutique in Paris and the absolutely gorgeous patent leather briefcase is a gift from my grandmother.

The Old Boys

Here are two of my all time favourite leather bags. They were my grandmother's but she was kind enough to give them to me. God bless grandmothers :) The quality of leather is superb and they just seem to be getting better and better. The dark brown bag has the most beautiful scallop design whereas the camel coloured is made of gorgeous soft leather. Unfortunately my poor old shoes are about to give up, no amount of leather cream will save them it seems. Maybe one more journey..

Rannekoru on lahja rakkaalta, settiin kuuluu myös kaulakoru. Tuubihuivi puolestaan on lahja siskolta, hän on sen itse neulonut. Arvostan suuresti kädentaitoja ja pitäisi varmaan itsenikin palautella mieleen noita neulomisen saloja.
